Clinical Technician

One of our clients is hiring a Clinical Technician to provide direct patient care and supervision within a behavioral health environment, ensuring patient safety, emotional support, and therapeutic engagement under nursing supervision.

This position supports patients with psychiatric disorders by maintaining a safe therapeutic environment and assisting with continuous observation and behavioral management. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to safety protocols, and the ability to respond effectively during crisis situations using de-escalation techniques.

• Provide direct supervision and care for patients in a behavioral health unit
• Monitor patient safety and maintain environmental safety standards
• Conduct scheduled patient observations (Q15 or Q5 minutes as assigned)
• Perform one-to-one patient monitoring when required
• Document observations accurately and in a timely manner
• Support patient engagement through interaction and positive role modeling
• Apply crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when behaviors elevate
• Follow all organizational policies and clinical procedures
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure quality patient care

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum one year of related experience preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Ability to manage high-stress situations while prioritizing safety

• Schedule:
  
  3 days per week, 12-hour shifts
