Position Overview

Full‑time, non‑exempt hourly supervisor role at the Chad‑Longview, TX location. Reports to Program Director and works with Direct Support Professionals in residential or vocational settings. Pay Class:
Full Time (+On Call Responsibilities) – $11.50 per hour. Minimum pay and benefits include standard company package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Direct Support Professionals and oversee day‑to‑day program operations.
  • Implement person‑centered plans, supervisory duties, health care, advocacy, customer engagement, regulatory compliance, and physical environment oversight.
  • Work 8 to 16 flexible hours per week in a supervisory capacity; provide direct support for remaining hours.
  • Maintain program planning, team meetings, compliance, incident reporting, billing, and utilization documentation.
  • Manage health care activities: monitor health, schedule appointments, administer or support medication, maintain medical supplies and equipment, and develop dietary plans.
  • Communicate and maintain stakeholder relationships, deliver customer service standards, and train DSPs.
  • Recruit, hire, schedule, train, evaluate, and discipline personnel, ensuring safety and compliance with workers’ compensation.
  • Handle financial management: purchasing, funds management, billing accuracy, staffing budget compliance, and census management.
  • Maintain physical environment, vehicles, equipment, and conduct regular maintenance and repair oversight.
  • Perform additional duties as required, including mobile punch authorization for timekeeping.
Essential Job Functions
  • Direct Support: work scheduled shifts as a direct support professional.
  • Records: document, review individual records, billing, and program documentation daily.
  • Program Planning: assist in development and implementation of program plans.
  • Team Meetings: attend and assist with routine progress meetings.
  • Compliance: assist in maintaining licensing compliance and implementing safety plans.
Health Care
  • General health monitoring, documentation, communication with medical professionals.
  • Appointments: schedule or assist with health care appointments and follow‑up.
  • Medications: administer or support medication, maintain security, review documentation.
  • Medical Supplies & Equipment: purchase, maintain, and train on proper use.
  • Dietary Planning: develop menus, purchase supplies, oversee food service consistent with individual plans.
Stakeholder Relations
  • Maintain professional relations with individuals, families, case managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Customer Service: implement customer service standards and train DSPs.
Personnel
  • Recruitment, hiring, scheduling, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of staff.
  • Evaluation: conduct annual evaluations and participate in discipline/termination decisions.
  • Employee Safety: ensure safety and workers’ compensation compliance.
  • Management: lead monthly program meetings, document agendas and attendance.
Financial Management
  • Purchasing: acquire supplies and equipment while monitoring cost and accuracy.
  • Funds Management: secure and manage individual funds, maintain ledgers and receipts.
  • Billing & Utilization: review billing data, monitor utilization, and ensure accurate service capture.
  • Staffing: monitor staffing hours for budget compliance.
Census Management
  • Capture daily census, understand performance metrics, and address service disruptions.
  • Placements: support location preparations for anticipated placements.
Maintenance
  • Vehicle: test drive, inspect, maintain, and train staff in vehicle safety.
  • Living Environment: supervise housekeeping, lawn care, and environment maintenance.
  • Repair Oversight: arrange and monitor repairs, monitor safety equipment, and replace filters monthly.
  • Equipment: monitor and maintain wheelchairs, lifts, and safety equipment.
Other
  • Perform other duties as required and support back filling roles.
  • Mobile Punch: authorized for timekeeping.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Manage Direct Support Professionals, complete evaluations, orientation, and training.
  • Handle Hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, and terminations.
  • Resolve employee problems within the scope of responsibilities.
