Physical Therapist

Overview

Physical therapists (PTs) are licensed health care professionals who help patients reduce pain and improve or restore mobility. PTs examine each individual and develop a plan using treatment techniques to promote movement, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. They also work with individuals to prevent loss of mobility by developing fitness- and wellness-oriented programs for healthier lifestyles.

• Examine patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to promote mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.
• Educate patients on managing their conditions and adopting healthy lifestyles.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.

Days, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

• Doctorate degree from an accredited program.
• Current Texas state licensure.

• BLS (AHA or ARC)

• 1 year of Inpatient Rehab experience.
• 2 years of Physical Therapist (PT) experience.

• Ability to examine patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Proficiency in implementing a variety of physical therapy techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to educate patients effectively.

• Meditech (Preferred)

• Adult

Required to float. No call requirements.
