Pay or shift range: $16 USD to $18.50 USD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
DescriptionJob Title: Resident Assistant
Position Summary: The Resident Assistant is responsible for ensuring that residents’ needs are being met in a safe, secure, and clean environment while exhibiting core values – Service, Integrity, Dignity, Excellence, and Teamwork.
Primary Responsibilities- Understand and agree with Sodalis Senior Living philosophy and goal to maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident’s quality or care and quality of life.
- Provide direct care and activities of daily living to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and engagement.
- Maintain necessary health and wellness records for residents, both in paper and electronic format.
- Perform daily household tasks according to the shift task list, including but not limited to laundry and housekeeping.
- Prepare and serve meals as needed.
- Assist residents with meals as needed.
- Report any concerns or needs to management.
- Adhere to and implement Sodalis Senior Living resident policies and procedures.
- Train and mentor new staff members.
- Attend any and all mandatory meetings.
- Communicate with Team Leader, Health and Wellness Director, and Management regarding any physical, mental, or social changes in residents, including but not limited to medications, bruises, cuts, sores, and potential health problems.
- Communicate with family members.
- Greet visitors and give marketing tours in the absence of management.
- Report any abuse or neglect of residents; all employees are required by law to report abuse and neglect.
- Be able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.

1 year caregiving experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Senior Living facilities is a plus.
