What You'll Do

• Prepare and dispense medications per physician requests following established protocols
• Interpret and verify drug orders within electronic medical records
• Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals including non-sterile, sterile, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition products
• Issue controlled substances and maintain accurate records compliant with regulations
• Supervise pharmacy support staff, including pharmacy technicians
• Assist in pharmacokinetic dosing, neonatal medication management, and emergency medicine protocols
• Monitor patient drug therapies for contraindications and interactions
• Perform pharmacokinetic consultations and renal dosing per hospital protocols
• Contribute to medication safety, formulary management, and quality improvement initiatives
• Provide drug information and education to healthcare team and patients

What You Need

• Texas Pharmacist License (or eligible for license transfer)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
• Preferred hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong knowledge of pharmacokinetics, neonatal medications, and emergency procedures
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
