Job Description

The Senior Recruiter is responsible for leading full‑cycle recruiting efforts to attract, assess, and hire high‑quality talent for exempt and technical roles across the organization. This position develops proactive sourcing strategies and builds strong talent pipelines to support current and future workforce needs. The Senior Recruiter partners closely with hiring leaders and human resources stakeholders to ensure effective, compliant, and timely hiring outcomes, and provides guidance to less experienced recruiting staff while leading recruiting‑related projects and initiatives.

Primary

Duties
  • Develop, facilitate, and manage all phases of the recruitment lifecycle, from workforce planning through offer acceptance.
  • Partner with human resources colleagues and hiring managers to clarify position requirements, candidate criteria, and recruitment priorities.
  • Design and execute effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates based on position requirements, labor market conditions, and organizational needs.
  • Source active and passive candidates through networking, outreach, and talent pipeline development.
  • Screen and evaluate applicant qualifications, conduct interviews, and coordinate candidate interview processes with hiring teams.
  • Prepare and extend employment offers in collaboration with stakeholders and support offer negotiations as needed.
  • Ensure recruiting activities comply with applicable employment laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Plan and participate in outreach initiatives such as career events, information sessions, and partnerships with educational institutions.
  • Serve as a subject‑matter resource for recruiting best practices and provide guidance to junior recruiting staff or onboarding personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, or a related discipline; 4+ years of professional recruiting experience, including experience supporting exempt, professional, or technical roles, or any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background. Professional recruiting certifications or specialized talent acquisition credentials are preferred.

  • Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and fair hiring practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct effective interviews and assess candidate qualifications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse groups.
  • Proficiency using standard business and office productivity tools.
Essential Mental and Physical Functions
  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods while performing administrative and interview‑related tasks.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, by phone, and in writing.
  • Ability to review and evaluate detailed candidate information and documentation.
  • Occasional movement within the workplace or to off‑site recruiting events.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 10 pounds as needed.
Work Environment
  • Work is primarily performed in an indoor office or professional workplace setting.
  • Regular interaction with internal stakeholders, candidates, and external contacts.
  • Occasional attendance at career fairs, recruiting events, or meetings outside of the office environment.
  • Standard office conditions with minimal exposure to environmental hazards.
