SAP Specialist

Job Description

Tech Connect is seeking a senior level individual that has experience working with and implementing SAP for an industry leading client in Longview, TX. Our client is looking for an candidate with a hybrid SAP skill set that includes SAP modules QTI, EWM, IM and/or FTP, PTP. The ideal candidate will understand and utilize SAP best practices to effectively design, develop, drive, and support highly effective SAP initiatives for the company.

This work will be performed 100% onsite at the companies Longview, Texas facility.

• Performing and facilitating SAP system updates and business process changes.
• Collaborate with business process owners and SAP functional consultants to understand system issues, gather requirements, effectively troubleshoot and communicate problems, and propose solutions.
• Support go live and pre-go live activities for SAP.
• Diagnose, plan, and manage configurations, while communicating changes to all stakeholders.
• Work with floor personnel to gather information, understand challenges, assess individual situations, address any issues they are having, and run reports for the business.
• Mentor and conduct training sessions for more junior SAP team members.

To be successful in this role you must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and present to users, management and upper leadership. You need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal team members and cross-functional teams while delivering exceptional support and service. You must possess strong organizational abilities and thrive in a collaborative company environment.

• 7+ years of experience working with and implementing SAP.
• Knowledge and experience in SAP modules such as QTI, EWM, IM and/or FTP, PTP.
• Experience working within a Center of Excellence is highly desired.
• SAP certification in relevant modules highly desired.
• High attention to detail, strong documentation and analytical problem solving skills.
• High integrity and moral standards.
