Here’s how a Warehouse Supervisor for PCL Solar Constructors USA Inc. within Solar USA contributes to our team:

Responsibilities (EXTERNAL):

• Develops and implements safe work procedures related to the facility.
• Supervises daily equipment operation for safe use, inspection, and maintenance.
• Schedules equipment periodic service and recertification. Provides resources with completed maintenance work orders. Ensures that equipment has annual inspections performed.
• Trains and directs employees on proper methods to ship and receive using the appropriate equipment, considering care and preservation during transit.
• Supervises yard controls and process to maximize the utilization of equipment, tools, and stores inventory.
• Contributes to the development and management of facility forecasts, budgets, asset inventory, and manpower schedules.
• Establishes work expectations, performance levels, and decision-making responsibility.

Qualifications (EXTERNAL):

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Appropriate certificates required for movement of construction-related materials considered an asset.
• 5 years of supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or construction industry experience.
• Direct supervisory experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of equipment, maintenance, and equipment operations.
• Applies effective planning and allocates resources to address shifting priorities.
• Working knowledge of construction tools, materials, and equipment based on own inventory.
• Understands the storage requirements of inventory and assists in warehouse planning.
