Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive Assistant Project Manager to support our project management team in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will assist in coordinating project activities, managing schedules, and ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Monitor project progress and report on status to the Project Manager
- Help manage project documentation and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to strategic discussions
- Utilize project management software like Procore and MS Project to track project milestones and deliverables
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
- Proficient in project management software, including Procore and MS Project
- 1-2 years of experience in commercial construction
- Strong understanding of construction processes and methodologies
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Previous experience in a construction or project management role is a plus
