We are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to perform lathe operations, inspect parts for quality and wear, and ensure that all work meets established standards. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely with industrial equipment.

- Operate medium-sized machines, including manual lathes, to perform basic lathe work.
- Inspect materials and parts for defects, using measuring tools such as CMMs, calipers, and micrometers.
- Perform first article inspections to ensure parts meet specifications before production approval.
- Record measurements and job documentation accurately using digital tools.
- Utilize hand‑held and stationary tools, including band saws, belt sanders, grinders, and files.
- Lift, adjust, and secure heavy objects while following safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all company and ISO standards, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
- Promote a positive workplace by fostering strong relationships with team members and occasionally interacting with customers.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of four years of manual machinist experience or completion of technical training in machine trades.
- Proficient in using dial calipers and micrometers for precise measurements.
- Experienced in conducting first article inspections and interpreting results.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of materials and their applications.
- Ability to perform basic math functions; trigonometry knowledge is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Capable of operating cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment.
