Overview
INDEVCO North America is an expanding company hiring for an entry‑level position with growth potential. The position will be based at our Longview, TX location.
In line with our Common Good strategy, we produce blown plastic film products, ensuring that people come first - whether employees, customers, or members of the communities in which we operate.
Our dynamic manufacturing team in Longview, TX is seeking a motivated individual to join our team in the role of Quality Technician.
Responsibilities- Randomly select and analyze data from production and supplier samples in a lab and plant environment.
- Communicate analysis results to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain the Quality System for compliance.
- Participate in daily and monthly safety audits of equipment and personnel.
- Implement systems to improve the Quality System.
- Ensure day‑to‑day operation of machinery is consistent with quality policies and procedures.
- Continuously improve processes individually and as a team.
- Ensure all environmental standards and requirements are met and followed.
- Perform inspections according to the Quality Procedure.
- Keep the area clean, organized, and safe.
- Complete all required tracking forms (inspections and checklists).
- Set an example of safe operation by following established safety guidelines and holding self and others accountable.
- Initiate and support improvement initiatives.
- Train others within the facility in the Quality System and internal auditing.
- Other duties as instructed by Plant Manager, Production Manager, Supervisor, Lead, or higher management.
- Maintain SQF (Safe Quality Foods) standards.
- Humidity and loud noises.
- Varying and extreme temperatures (heat and cold).
- Mechanical parts.
- Forklift traffic.

Requirements- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic understanding of computers and lab equipment.
- Ability to communicate and work well with others.
- Documentation, and Quality System knowledge up to date.
- Familiarity with lab equipment and associated data.
