Career Insulator – Trinity Tank Car, Inc. (Longview, TX)

Trinity Tank Car, Inc. is looking for a Career Insulator in our Longview, TX location! Our products are an integral part of the supply chain that helps fuel our lives and our economy. • Prepares and applies insulation to tank car using spray on glue.
• Trim insulation to proper length by cutting away from yourself while using a utility knife.
• A half-mask P100 respirator, Kevlar cut resistant gloves and 100% long sleeve cotton shirt are required.
• A Tyvek suit is recommended.
• Must not be afraid of heights and/or working on top of a tank car.
• A full body harness and self-retracting line are required when working on top of tank.

• Transport rolls of insulation on top of platform using conveyor system.
• Use spray application of glue to coat outside of tank car prior to installation.
• Trim excess insulation to proper length.
• Secure insulation with nylon straps.
