Elwood Staffing is looking for a Tool Person in Longview, TX! 6:30a-6:30p 4/2 schedule $17-23/hr DOE

Tool Person
- Days Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 17.00 to $ 23.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Sunday through Saturday from 06:30am to 06:30pm)

• 1st Shift - 6:30a-6:30p
• 4/2 work schedule
• Set up and perform changeover of tooling for the forge and drawbench
• Work as part of a team to efficiently perform tool changeover
• Operate a crane and hoists for heavy lifting
• Willingness to work overtime and in a dirty environment
• Perform gas cuts using plasma cutter
• Perform checks from buffing to determine if acceptable or not.
• Willingness to be trained for Billet Saw, Press and Spin in the High Pressure Plant
• Willingness to do side wall checks on cylinders
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous similar experience
• Steel toe shoes/boots required
• Must be able to work in a very hot and dirty environment

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
