Elwood Staffing is hiring several CNC Operator-Programmers in Longview, TX! $17-23/hr DOE

CNC Operator-Programmer Details:

• Temporary position
• $ 17.00 to $ 23.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Various shifts available (Monday through Friday)
• 1st Shift - 6:30a-6:30p
• 2nd Shift - 6:30p-6:30a
• Some OT and weekends as needed

Responsibilities:

• Program CNC equipment using G-code to meet product specs
• Proficient in CAM and FANUC systems
• Verify programs before production release
• Set up, program, and operate CNC machines
• Read blueprints and job orders (dimensions, tolerances, tooling, feeds/speeds)
• Select and secure tools and work pieces in machines/fixtures
• Adjust controls for positioning, feeds, speeds, and depth of cut
• Set up fixtures/feeding devices and operate machines
• Monitor operations and ensure parts meet specifications
• Manage coolant/cutting oil flow as needed
• Sharpen tools using a bench grinder
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Non climate controlled, dirty environment
• Must have CNC operator programming experience
• Must be able to work OT and weekends as needed
• Applicant may be subject to a background check
