Production Technician (R) – Longview, TX
Air Liquide Large Industries provides industrial gas and energy solutions critical to manufacturing operations. We operate over 2,000 miles of pipelines supplying oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, and syngas to chemicals, petrochemicals, refining, and steel industries. Our production facilities are monitored 24/7 from our Houston operations control center.
We are seeking a Production Technician to ensure safe and efficient plant operation. Responsibilities include monitoring equipment, troubleshooting, implementing improvements, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

- Monitor and control equipment performance during shift operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to production processes.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Conduct regular maintenance on equipment according to scheduled maintenance procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of production data and equipment performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the plant.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Ensure compliance with environmental standards and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial processes.
- Experience working with heavy machinery and equipment.
- Ability to work safely and follow established safety protocols.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and on‑call as needed.
- 2‑year associate’s degree or certificate preferred.
The candidate must have valid unrestricted employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
