Career Insulator – Longview, TX

Trinity Tank Car, Inc. is looking for a Career Insulator at our Longview, TX location.

• Prepare and apply insulation to tank cars using spray‑on glue.
• Trim insulation to proper length by cutting with a utility knife.
• Work at heights and on top of tank cars, including the use of a full body harness and self‑retracting line.
• Use a half‑mask P100 respirator, Kevlar cut‑resistant gloves, and a 100% long-sleeve cotton shirt; a Tyvek suit is recommended.

• Transport rolls of insulation to the platform using the conveyor system.
• Apply spray glue to coat the outside of the tank car before installation.
• Trim excess insulation to proper length.
• Secure insulation with nylon straps.

• Experience or training in tank car insulation or a related field.
• Ability to work at heights and on tank cars.
• Compliance with safety gear requirements.
• Provide certifications, training, or relevant experience and a work history that lists at least the last two employers.
