HPC-Industrial
, Powered by Clean Harbors, is looking for a Travel Team Supervisor Industrial Services to work at a customer location and join their safety-conscious team. This team member is responsible for two or more crews by planning, leading, organizing, and coordinating the daily operations of the service line crew. Responsibilities include ensuring proper operation of equipment, driving operational efficiencies at the work site, and ensuring accurate documentation related to the job is completed in a timely fashion.

The supervisor enforces compliance with all company policies and procedures and maintains/ improves good customer relations by providing quality, timely industrial cleaning services.

Responsibilities
  • Instruct, provide feedback, and direct crew in performance of job duties to complete work in accordance with client requirements and company policies.
  • Enforce company employee policies and may remove employee from job when required.
  • Schedule jobs and crews.
  • Dispatch crews based on calls received on nights and weekends.
  • Act as Operations Manager or Branch Manager when requested.
  • Read work orders and ensure all required equipment is available and operational prior to starting job.
  • Inspect equipment and general work area prior to starting any job; correct deficiencies that may cause accidents or lost productivity.
  • Inform client of job status and client requirements as needed.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment when required.
  • Complete all appropriate paperwork including service receipts and submit to designated management.
  • Train technicians and operators on‑the‑job in equipment operation, service line processes and necessary paperwork.
  • Operate all necessary equipment in service line (chemical, hydro‑blasting, painting, blasting, and vacuum) in accordance with training and safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and ability in people management.
  • Strong knowledge in operating equipment used in the service line.
  • Ability to comprehend English language, written and verbal.
  • Strong Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel skills;
    Microsoft Access is a plus.
  • Experience with Win Web (HPC Software).
  • Attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting equipment is preferred.
  • CDL, forklift, and backhoe certification to assist with plant operations as needed (job duties may vary).
  • Calculate load weights for manifest completion.
  • Issue manifests correctly per waste stream, transporter, TSDF, and PO.
  • Maintain filing system for issued and returned manifests.
  • Assist HPC drivers with Win Web ticket entries as necessary.
  • Schedule pit loads at TSDF(s).
  • Assist in coordination of roll‑off logistics (moves, re‑spots, deliveries).
  • Perform weekly inspections and inspect roll‑offs with vac truck supervisor for water and oil removal.
What does it take to work at HPC-Industrial?
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience within the industrial cleaning industry; prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training and on‑the‑job experience.
  • Proficiency in English to comprehend safety training and respond to emergency instructions.
  • Knowledge of company driving policy required when driving company vehicle or using a personal vehicle on company business.
  • OSHA certification may be required.
  • Knowledge of emergency equipment operation (e.g., fire extinguishers).
  • RCRA certificates.
  • May need to provide Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).
