Job Overview
Norris Cylinder Company is hiring a Multi-craft Maintenance Technician for the 2nd/3rd shift. Hourly pay $25.00 - $35.00 depending on experience.

- Perform repairs and routine maintenance on industrial equipment, including PLC‑controlled hydraulic presses, CNC lathes, mills, robots, conveyors, and other supporting equipment used in the production and certification of high‑pressure seamless gas and low‑pressure acetylene cylinders.
- Electrical (480 V 3‑phase), PLC and robotic troubleshooting and repairs.
- Repair and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment such as electric motors, hydraulic pumps, valves, and conveyors.
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine service on all machines and equipment.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Adherence to safety policies, quality policy, ISO procedures, and work rules.
- Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas.
- Perform specified quality assurance checks and follow work order instructions.
- Work effectively with colleagues and other personnel.
- Operate machinery and equipment required for the job.
- Accomplish assigned tasks in a reasonable time frame.
- Adhere to the Quality Policy and ISO procedural requirements.
- Maintain a clean work area and follow good housekeeping practices.
- Follow work rules, work independently, and be willing to perform a variety of jobs.
- Use machinery/equipment required to accomplish given job assignments.
- Cooperate with coworkers and other personnel courteously and respectfully.
Stand, walk, sit, use hands to manipulate tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 lb. The production area is often hot, noisy, and non‑climate‑controlled. High noise level requires ear protection.
Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of experience working with PLC/Electrical Controls, Robotics, and Electrical.
- Technical certification in PLC/Electrical Controls, Robotics, and Electrical preferred.
- Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
- Experience with SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW a plus.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus.
- Must have own tools.
- High School Diploma.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and documents related to the machine and/or work instructions.
