Production Supervisor- Unit Production Crew

Job Summary

Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the production floor, ensuring the efficient and timely manufacturing of goods.

• Coordinate and direct production activities to ensure efficient manufacturing.
• Analyze production documents to determine requirements and plan work schedules.
• Collaborate with other supervisors to coordinate operations between departments.
• Maintain accurate records of operations data including employee time, production, and costs.
• Prepare reports on shift performance for departmental supervisors.
• Implement measures to motivate employees and enhance production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Request materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repair services as needed.
• Maintain regular attendance and be punctual for assigned shifts.
• Foster cooperative relationships with colleagues.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.

• Minimum of high school graduate/GED.
• Preferred 3–5 years of industry experience or equivalent experience in a similar industry.
• Education beyond the minimum is an added advantage.

• Effective communication and excellent interpersonal relationship skills.

• Leadership Training Courses.
• First Aid and CPR.
• May require RCRA (hazardous waste management), DOT, HVAC, or 608 Universal Refrigerant certification depending on area assigned.

• Work in manufacturing facilities with varying and extreme temperatures, loud noises, dust, chemical fumes, sharp metal objects, and heavy forklift traffic.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repeated climbing, stooping, walking, and sitting.
