We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinic Nurse (RN/LVN) to join our team. This role involves caring for patients with chronic autoimmune conditions, supporting providers in delivering specialized treatments, and educating patients on disease management and therapies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments including pain levels, symptoms, and functional status
- Assist providers with exams and treatment plans
- Administer injections and biologics
- Monitor patients for medication effectiveness and adverse reactions
- Educate patients on disease processes, treatment plans, and medication management
- Provide instruction on self-administration of injectable medications
- Teach lifestyle modifications (diet, exercise, joint protection strategies)
- Reinforce adherence to therapy and follow-up appointments
- Coordinate care including labs, referrals, and prior authorizations
- Review and follow up on lab results
- Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Triage patient calls and respond to clinical questions
Qualifications
- Current RN or LVN/LPN license in Texas
- BLS certification required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Ability to manage complex chronic conditions
- Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
- Compassion and ability to support patients with long-term illnesses
