About the Role
Your Experience Matters:
Longview Rehabilitation Hospital, operated jointly with Lifepoint Health and Christus Health, seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff. You will support patients' comfort and assist with daily living activities and clinical procedures in a 36‑bed acute rehabilitation setting.
- Perform basic patient care tasks including bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Provide general nursing support such as positioning, lifting, turning, and using special equipment.
- Assist with toileting needs using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation to the bathroom.
- Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, blood pressure, and intake/output measurements accurately and document in a timely manner.
- Prepare patient rooms for admission and transfer, ensuring cleanliness and equipment readiness.
- Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment with attention to ventilation and lighting.
- Support patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures, including handling of patient belongings.
- Answer patient call lights, phones, and pages, responding promptly and appropriately.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Completion of a nursing assistant training course.
- Minimum six months of experience in an acute care or long‑term care setting (preferred).
- Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant.
- CPR/BCLS certification required.
