Emergency Room registered nurses (RN) provide care for patients from various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention and must be able to recognize and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions.

• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Apply knowledge of general and specific health issues for urgent treatment and care.
• Use triage principles to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Board certification or evidence of BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC (may be required by the client).
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute‑care emergency room setting.
• Additional requirements as determined by the client facility.
