Travel RN – Emergency Room

Longview, TX

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Nights (8:00 PM – 8:00 AM) | On-Site

• Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned Emergency Department patients.
• Administer medications and treatments per appropriate protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatments.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with scope of practice.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications administered, and care provided accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assess patient and family learning needs; provide education and identify appropriate resources.
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed to effectively manage clinical situations.

• Minimum of two years of Emergency Department experience required; current role must be in an ED setting (e.g., freestanding ER, ER code, ER urgent care).
• Active RN license in the state of Texas or a compact state license.
• Current BLS certification required (American Heart Association only).
• Current ACLS certification required (American Heart Association only).
• Current PALS certification required (American Heart Association only).
• Current TNCC certification required.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume or fast-paced Emergency Department environment.

• Projected start date of July 2026 with a temp-to-perm option, offering potential for long-term placement.
• Blocked scheduling may be available, providing flexibility for travel nurses managing personal commitments.
