About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate LVN to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. As an LVN at Avir at Longview, you will be responsible for delivering targeted nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor patient progress, and provide emotional support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high‑quality patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse
  • Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs, medical conditions, and respond to changes promptly
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Perform routine tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with injections
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and reduce readmissions
Requirements
  • Current LVN licensure in the State of Texas
  • Completion of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse program
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changes in patient needs and priorities
