We're looking for a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Longview team on a part-time basis. As our Clinical Communications & Follow-Up LVN, you'll serve as the connection between our patients and clinical team through post-discharge follow-up, patient education, communication, and occasional clinical support within our Emergency Department.
This unique role combines nursing knowledge with exceptional communication, customer service, and patient advocacy. Some days you'll spend most of your shift helping patients over the phone. Other days you'll jump in to assist the clinical team during busy periods. No two days look exactly the same.

What You'll Do as the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)As a Licensed Vocational Nurse at HHER, you will:
- Deliver the exceptional patient experience that defines Hospitality Health ER
- Make post-discharge follow-up calls to patients
- Answer incoming clinical calls and patient questions
- Provide education within the scope of your LVN license
- Help resolve concerns with professionalism and compassion
- Escalate clinical concerns to providers when appropriate
- Support physicians and nurses during high-volume periods
- Assist with triage, discharge, medication administration, and other patient care activities as needed
- Document patient interactions accurately

- Thinks critically while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Takes initiative and anticipates the needs of patients and the clinical team
- Thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment and is always willing to help wherever needed
- Current Texas LVN license required
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Previous experience in emergency, urgent care, family practice, acute care, or other fast-paced clinical settings preferred
- Comfortable communicating with patients and families by phone
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Unlike traditional bedside nursing, this position allows you to build meaningful relationships with patients through education, follow-up, and support while remaining actively involved with our Emergency Department team.
