American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Telemetry/IMC Med-Surg position requiring 2 years of experience and TX or compact RN licensure.

• Work in the IMC Med Surgical unit of a hospital setting
• Care for a mix of diagnoses and acuity levels, including respiratory, sepsis, and multiple co-morbidity cases
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Full-time, 12-week assignment

• Active RN license in Texas or compact state
• Current BLS certification (AHA only) required
• Current ACLS certification (AHA only) required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a related nursing specialty required
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and family members
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Previous CHRISTUS Health employees must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for a travel assignment at any CHRISTUS facility
