RN – ER/ED – Emergency Room/Emergency Department – Travel

Seven Healthcare are seeking a competent RN with emergency room experience for an exciting travel assignment in Longview, TX. This role requires the ability to provide routine and complex care in a dynamic clinical setting. The position offers opportunities to develop skills in managing the contingencies of clinical nursing while working independently.

Key responsibilities of the RN – ER/ED:

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers

Requirements of the RN – ER/ED:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Current ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• Current PALS certification required (AHA only)
• Current TNCC certification required
• RN License in state of TX or compact
