* Job Summary:

** Prepares, pours, and serves beer/wine and other related products. Maintains stock levels and product quality of food and drinks by monitoring dates, appearance, and storage temperature controls.
*
* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*** Adheres to quality control and food safety standards by stocking and rotating alcohol and related goods.
* Prepares, pours, and serves alcoholic beverages, such as wine and beer by following proper guidelines and TABC protocol.
* Maintains intermediate knowledge on all beer and wine offerings and potential food pairings.
* Maintains appealing product displays and bar cleanliness according to Company standards.
* Serves hot and cold prepared food to customers while adhering to food safety guidelines.
* Promotes product sales through use of suggestive selling initiatives.
* Stacks pallets and sorts products into correct locations according to Company efficiency standards and expectations.
* Maintains clean, safe, and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to Company safety procedures.
* Provides friendly and customer-service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions, etc.

* Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

*** Intermediate knowledge of alcohol regulations and guidelines.
* Ability to read and operate bar equipment such as corkscrews, draft beer dispensers, etc.
* Ability to safely operate hazardous tools and equipment such as an ice machine, commercial glass washers, commercial ovens, etc.
* Ability to learn new systems, methods, or processes.
* Ability to use precision and non-precision hand tools.
* Ability to work well with fellow partners and promote a team environment.
* Ability to effectively communicate with customers and partners in written and verbal form.
* Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Must report any potential hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor.
** Education,

Experience and Qualifications:

*** Minimum of 21 years of age required.
* Food Handler certification required.
* TABC/LACT/AATC/ABLE certification required where applicable.
* Typically involves on-the-job training.
* Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy.
