Retail Supervisor
As a Retail Supervisor, you’ll lead a dynamic team to deliver high‑impact merchandising, reset, and remodel projects across your territory. You’ll be the driving force behind quality execution, team development, and client satisfaction—making a visible difference in every store you touch. To thrive in this role, you’ll need a blend of leadership, retail experience, and hands‑on problem‑solving skills. We’re looking for someone who’s ready to take ownership, inspire a team, and deliver results in a fast‑paced retail environment.
Responsibilities- Lead & Inspire:
Interview, hire, train, and manage a high‑performing team to execute retail projects that exceed client expectations. - Ensure Excellence:
Conduct in‑store audits and provide hands‑on support to guarantee flawless execution and timely completion of merchandising and reset activities. - Own the Process:
Read and implement planograms, install fixtures, operate merchandising equipment, and assist with truck unloading and product placement. - Plan Strategically:
Organize project workflows, materials, and schedules with precision—adapting plans as needed to meet real‑time challenges. - Coach for Success:
Set clear expectations, evaluate performance, and provide ongoing feedback to foster growth and accountability. - Communicate Effectively:
Build strong relationships through professional, clear, and consistent communication with team members and store partners. - Leverage Technology:
Use digital tools and hardware confidently to streamline operations and reporting.
- Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four‑year college or university preferred; OR 1–2 years of related retail experience and/or training; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Leadership
Skills:
Proven ability to supervise and motivate teams of 10–100 employees; experience in coaching, performance evaluation, and team development. - Technical & Physical Capability:
Comfortable using technology, hardware, and software tools to manage projects; able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 60 lbs occasionally; willing to perform physical tasks such as installing fixtures, moving shelves, and merchandising products. - Communication Excellence:
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to build trust and rapport with team members and store partners. - Logistics & Travel:
Valid driver’s license required; extensive local travel may be necessary to support field operations.
