Store Manager
Reporting to the District Manager, the Store Manager leads the day‑to‑day operations of a single store to achieve all sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, inventory control, brand representation and team member growth. Through personal selling, leadership and coaching, the Manager champions a People‑First environment that promotes diversity, inclusion and a best‑in‑class customer experience.
Responsibilities- Communicate performance expectations, coach staff to meet brand standards, and ensure consistent store visuals and marketing.
- Drive sales projections and quotas, develop strategies to maximize personal and team sales, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain inventory accuracy, oversee merchandising, and respond to operational issues promptly.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop talent, providing ongoing coaching in operations, sales, customer service, product knowledge, inventory control and visual merchandising.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and the sign‑in/sign‑out system.
- Manage the store’s schedule, balancing opening/closing shifts, peak sales periods and coaching needs.
- Collaborate with other store managers in the mall or region to share best practices and resources.
- Education
:
Minimum of two years of college education preferred. - Experience
:
At least 3 years of retail sales experience, or 2 years of retail sales plus 1 year of retail management experience. Preference for specialty retail or jewelry experience. - Skills
:
Advanced communication (written and verbal); proficiency with MS Office and related business tools; strong interpersonal, presentation, problem‑solving and conflict‑management skills. - Leadership
:
Ability to train, motivate and delegate to a team; strong organizational and prioritization abilities. - Technical
:
Ability to use email, social media, video conference and phone effectively to communicate with customers and employees. - Additional Requirements
:
Bilingual skills are a plus. DCA certification is desirable.
The role requires regular standing, reaching with hands and arms, walking between display cases, lifting up to 10 pounds, bending and kneeling as needed. Visual acuity sufficient to discern quality of gemstones is required. The position may include travel for training and business meetings, including overnight stays.
