Essential Functions
- Review plans and specs to gain a full understanding of the project's scope
- Work in collaboration with operations team members and field personnel to create and monitor the construction schedule to maintain the project budget
- Ensure adherence to company safety policies
- Assist in moving and operating equipment as needed
- Manage and oversee Heavy Equipment Operators including timekeeping
- Coordinate transportation of heavy equipment when needed
- Ability to run excavators, bulldozers, road graders, reclaimer/stabilizers and other heavy construction equipment
- Knowledgeable in the areas of processing and compacting dirt, flex base and stabilization including grade work, surveying and base topping
- Calculate finishing grade from plans and survey control points
- Ability to multi-task
- Good organizational skills
- Good communication skills
- Must have a strong commitment to jobsite safety
This is a full-time position. Days of work are normally Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; however, evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Hours of work are determined by the supervisor based on deadlines set by the client.
TravelTravel to the jobsites is expected for this position.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and will frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Some equipment can be extremely heavy and will require a lot of strength to move or manipulate. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to quickly respond appropriately to unexpected events.
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions, rough and uneven surfaces, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
