Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Journeyman Electrician or Apprentice Electrician to join our dynamic electrical team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse electrical projects across commercial and residential settings, ensuring safe and efficient electrical systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems while adhering to all safety standards and local electrical codes.

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial businesses and residential homes, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately execute projects.
• Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Handle high-voltage electrical wiring safely on construction sites or during renovation projects, following all electrical safety procedures.
• Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems, including low voltage controls and industrial electrical components.
• Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for wiring installation, conduit bending, and system upgrades.

• Proven experience as an electrician in commercial and residential environments; journeyman certification preferred for experienced candidates.
• Strong knowledge of local electrical codes (such as NEC) and NFPA 70 compliance standards.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately.
• Hands-on experience with electrical wiring, both high voltage and low voltage systems, and familiarity with industrial electrical systems.
• Skilled in using diagnostic tools including voltmeters, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other testing equipment.
• Construction site experience with a focus on safety procedures related to electrical work; renovation experience is a plus.
• Capable of working independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high safety standards.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently within complex electrical systems.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation; ability to work at various job sites as needed.

Pay: $16.00 - $30.00 per hour
