Description

Position Summary

Performs routine (journey-level) child support case management and enforcement activities. Responsibilities include conducting investigations, enforcing court-ordered child support obligations, preparing legal and case documentation, monitoring case compliance, and providing customer service to program participants.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations to locate absent parents, verify employment, and determine assets.

• Monitor child support payments and refer delinquent cases for enforcement.

• Prepare legal and administrative documents.

• Negotiate settlements and payment arrangements.

• Attend court proceedings with legal staff.

• Respond to customer inquiries and maintain case records.

• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with applicable regulations.
Critical Control and Escalation Requirements (If applicable)

Escalate legal, compliance, confidentiality, and safety concerns through established procedures.
Supervisory Responsibilities

None.
Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Six months to one year of related experience.

• Must pass a background check.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

Office environment. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and travel up to 15%.
