Salary Range: $70,000 to $75,000 per annum

We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Commercial Truck Driver to transport live poultry from our hatchery to farms and other locations. This position involves primarily local driving, with occasional longer or out-of-state trips based on business needs.

• Safely operate a commercial tractor-trailer to transport live poultry.
• Load, unload, and safely handle live birds during transportation.
• Monitor and properly care for poultry while on the road.
• Drive primarily local routes, including rural roads and remote farm locations.
• Communicate professionally with customers, farm personnel, and the hatchery team.
• Perform pre-trip and safety inspections before operating the vehicle.
• Properly secure loads and ensure safe transportation.
• Maintain accurate trip, time, weight, and equipment records.
• Keep the truck and equipment clean and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow all DOT, company, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Work independently while staying in communication with the transportation team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Previous tractor-trailer or commercial driving experience preferred.
• Ability to safely handle and transport live poultry.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to navigate rural roads and remote locations.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.

This is a direct hire opportunity. The selected candidate will be employed directly by our client.
