Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operator to support our Longview, Texas operations. Komatsu offers a competitive salary and benefits as well as merit increases and annual bonus.

Key Job Responsibilities

* Work safe and be an advocate for safety.

* Operate a variety of warehouse equipment including forklifts (reach and stand up, 6,000 - 10,000 lb.), hand cart and pallet jack.

* Loading and unloading a truck utilizing a forklift.

* Maintaining an accurate record of all parts received and distributed.

* Perform move transactions using a scan gun.

* Familiarity with operation of Raymond wire guided forklift.

* Load, unload, move, stack, pick, put away, stock, and arrange material in an accessible manner and according to standard warehouse practices.

* Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of work environment.

* Promptly communicating any errors or discrepancies.

* Strategically storing material to maximize storage space within the warehouse.

* Counting and confirming inventory.

* Utilize SAP to do basic research.

Qualifications/Requirements

* Work experience, preferably in warehouse.

* Ability to operate forklift competently.

* Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.

* Successful completion of background investigation and drug screening.

* Excellent time management and organizational skills.

* Strong people skills and ability to work effectively with a team.

* Agile, dexterous, and undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions.

* Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. safely.

* Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.

* Available to work extended hours.
