Holt CAT in Longview, Texas is looking for a Parts Warehouse Clerk 1. This position is responsible for responding to customers’ needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner while demonstrating a sense of urgency. The role also requires prompt, accurate, and efficient processing of all parts transactions and related warehouse activities. Work may be done independently or as part of a team.
The position is located at 2210 Legacy Parkway, Longview, Texas 75602, and the hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. A valid driver license is required. Industry experience is preferred.

- Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Adheres to contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations.
- Maintains all company equipment, warehouse environment, tools, and work areas in a good, clean, and working order.
- Completes all parts order pulling transactions for external and internal customers in an accurate, timely, and supportive manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Completes all stock replenishment tasks in an accurate, timely, and supportive manner to maintain proper inventory status in the parts warehouse; subject to management observation, stock order analysis reports, and daily and year‑end physical inventories.
- Maintains parts operations office, warehouse, and outside yards so that they are neat and orderly as assessed by the department manager.
- Develops sales and inventory skills by completing internal training programs determined by performance review goal setting for self‑improvement and achievement of other KRAs.
- Completes internal parts orders and identifies parts for return; communicates job status to supervisor as needed.
- Learns how to place 3rd‑party orders through the CODA system and how to receive orders through the CODA system.
- Performs housekeeping duties while adhering to contamination control guidelines.
- Works overtime as required by workload.
- Requires regular and punctual employee attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ability to meet all requirements as outlined in the Parts Warehouse Position Designation Guidelines, including order pulling, job‑related software, forklift operation, hydraulic hose building, ladder JSA, battery JSA, prime mover JSA, will counter operations, and all applicable policies and procedures.
- General knowledge of equipment and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Knowledge and proficiency with current computer software and related hardware is preferred.
- Operation and control skills of equipment or systems such as forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Equipment selection skills by determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
- Ability to follow logical troubleshooting procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to operate a conventional forklift.
- Ability to operate the controls of a machine or vehicle quickly and repeatedly to exact positions.
- Ability to be self‑starting and self‑motivated.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and understand information.
- Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
- Up to two years of warehouse experience.
- Must complete HOLT VBL and DiSC training within the first year of employment.
- Must have a valid driver license.
- Must be able to become forklift certified.

- Up to 10% travel may be required and may require overnight stays.
- Ability to travel between stores within the region for special projects and/or company needs.
