Peace Health - - Responsibilities:
Operate a telephone console (switchboard) to direct calls to appropriate individuals or departments;
Respond to emergency codes and dispatch security as needed;
Provide information to people in the lobby and assist with directories and routine clerical/data entry tasks;
Dispatch requests for multiple services via radio and beeper; assist in after-hours visitor process;
Report status of console operation to relief and report system trouble to telephone technician
