Senior Planning Operations Analyst

Title: Senior Planning Operations Analyst - Hybrid (Columbia Sportswear)

This hybrid role is based at Columbia Sportswear headquarters near Portland, Oregon. As the Senior Planning Operations Analyst for Global Planning, you will lead and drive the fulfillment planning processes, capabilities and analytics across multiple brands, regions, and channels.

• Own the Global Planning business process for fulfillment planning, including planning application and analytical capabilities.
• Act as functional SME and engage business SMEs to define requirements, support solutions, and deliver on Supply Chain and Enterprise priorities.
• Lead global Planning initiatives and drive desired outcomes for fulfillment planning.
• Anticipate and communicate issues and key decisions to program sponsors, stakeholders, and Global Planning Leadership.
• Define business use cases, user stories, and business requirements, ensuring clarity within the backlog.
• Champion business priorities and requirements through program deliverables as needed.
• Serve as the functional global lead for fulfillment planning to determine omni-channel needs and priorities.
• Lead a super-user community, facilitating process, capability, and analytics updates and enhancements for fulfillment planning.
• Coordinate with users to validate enhancements for business processes, planning tools, and associated analytics.
• Drive and facilitate continuing education of current business process and enhancements to planning applications and related reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Business, Management, Merchandise Planning, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of professional experience with mastery of business process and relevant function/process experience.
• 5+ years of experience with decision support tools and processes in a business process/analyst capacity.
• Experience relating planning applications and associated data to business process needs.
• Business Process Analyst experience defining process and leveraging analytics to inform decision making.
• Business acumen across product creation, manufacturing, supply chain (demand and supply planning), finance, and retail.
• Experience in omni-channel and retail industry is desired.
