Locums - Longview, Washington | Urology Opening

Join an established Urology practice providing inpatient and outpatient coverage. This is a solo-provider opportunity with clinic, OR, and call responsibilities.

Assignment Details

Start Date:

ASAP

Contract Length: 26 weeks

Schedule:

• Clinic:
  Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Approximately 3 clinic days and 1 OR day per week
• 24-hour call, approximately 7 days per month
• 1:2 weekend call
• When on call, clinic responsibilities are adjusted to allow adequate rest
• When not on call, approximately 4 clinic days plus 1 OR day

Clinical Responsibilities

• Inpatient and outpatient Urology
• Approximately 18 patients per day
• Standard Urology procedures in clinic and OR
• Cystoscopy
• Catheter and stent placement
• TURP and TURBT
• Ureteroscopy
• Prostate biopsy
• ESWL
• Circumcision
• Orchiopexy
• Hydrocelectomy
• PVP and litholapaxy
• Diagnosis and treatment of erectile dysfunction, kidney stones, and male incontinence
• Surgical assistance

Practice Setting

• Hospital and Urology clinic
• 122-bed hospital
• Hospital and clinic privileges required
• Provider will work independently
• Da Vinci experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Board Certified Urology – Required
• Minimum 2 years of experience – Required
• Active Washington license or IMLC with LOQ in hand
• BLS and ACLS – Required
• EPIC EMR
