"Adult Psychiatry Opportunity Longview, WashingtonA behavioral health program in Washington is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist for a locum assignment beginning August 2026 due to a provider coverage gap.
Compensation:
Hourly: $240/hr Night call: $370/hr Call back: $295/hr Position Details Specialty:

Inpatient and Outpatient Behavioral Health Coverage Type:
Scheduled coverage with optional callFTE: 1.0
Schedule Clinic Days Monday Friday8 :00 AM 5:00 PM1-hour lunch
Inpatient/Outpatient Split Days Inpatient: 8:00 AM 12:00 PM Outpatient Clinic: 1:00 PM 5:00 PMMay occasionally begin at 7:30 AM for court-related responsibilities
Inpatient Coverage8:00 AM 12:00 PMCallOccasional night call may become available
No current call coverage needs
Weekend coverage approximately once per quarter
Certain inpatient weekend coverage may be performed remotely if the provider resides in Washington Current Coverage Needs August / September August 31 Inpatient (8:00 AM12:00 PM)

Thanksgiving week coverage (November 2325) is highly desired.
Practice Environment Both hospital and clinic privileges required
Locations are approximately 5 minutes apart
Adult patient population only Provider will work independently
Patient Volume Average 1214 patients per day Clinical Responsibilities Psychiatric evaluations and medication management
Inpatient rounding and admissions
Outpatient behavioral health care Court-related responsibilities as neededEMREpicRequirementsMD or DOBoard Certified in Psychiatry Active Washington license required at presentation
Washington license must be in hand (IMLC not accepted)
BLS required
Minimum 2 years of experience
Epic experience required
Case log documenting at least 100 psychiatric patient encounters within the previous 24 months required
Additional Information Credentialing is being expedited to meet the August start date Provider must be comfortable practicing independently
Opportunity includes a mix of inpatient and outpatient psychiatry
Optional future night call opportunities may become available if staffing needs arise"
