Special Education Teacher in Longview, WA

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Current Washington State Special Education Teacher certification is required
• Experience collaborating with diverse student populations in a school setting
• Ability to demonstrate patience, flexibility, and creativity in instructional approaches
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Proven organizational skills for managing paperwork, schedules, and IEP documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction adapted to students diverse learning needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service professionals
• Maintain accurate records, student progress reports, and comply with state/federal regulations
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development

Compensation for this position ranges from $30.00 to $50.00.
