Lower Columbia College's Head Start/ECEAP program is currently accepting applications for our open Lead Teacher position. In this role you won't just be managing a classroom—you will be the visionary designer of our early learning environment, directly shaping individualized curriculum and teaming with families to transform lives and build stronger communities.

The Position :
The Lead Teacher is responsible for an Early Childhood Center Classroom, supervising 17 children including classroom activities and meal times. In addition to classroom activities, this position will be responsible for maintaining records for all children and families. Lead Teachers coordinate three parent teacher conferences per year. This position will work closely with parents, families, community partners, and other staff members.
We currently have one Lead Teacher opening:
Head Start classroom at Barnes North
10 months, 35 hours per week
Schedule:
7:30 am - 3:30 pm
This position is classified as an Early Childhood Program Specialist 3 under Washington State Classification Specifications. This position reports to the Area Manager.
