Job Summary

As a CT Technologist, you will perform CT exams that support fast, accurate diagnosis while delivering calm, compassionate care to every patient you serve.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare the CT room for each exam.
  • Review patient history and prior imaging before the scan.
  • Choose the correct exam based on the patient’s condition.
  • Partner with radiologists and providers when questions arise.
  • Explain the exam clearly to each patient.
  • Support patients before, during, and after imaging.
  • Adjust the exam if patient needs change.
  • Operate the CT scanner safely and accurately.
  • Check image quality before completing the exam.
  • Follow radiation safety standards at all times.
  • Start IVs and perform venipuncture as needed.
  • Complete interventional CT procedures when assigned.
  • Help train students or staff when requested.
Education
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (required)
Experience
  • Experienced CT Techs with at least 1 year of experience highly preferred.
  • Comfortable working independently.
  • Strong understanding of age‑specific patient care.
  • Proven venipuncture skills.
  • Experience using PACS and RIS systems.
  • EPIC RIS, FUJI, or Intelli Space PACS experience preferred.
Licenses & Certifications
  • ARRT in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or Computed Tomography.
  • ARRT CT certification highly preferred at hire; required within 1 year of hire.
  • Washington State Radiologic Technologist license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire.
