Qualifications &

Experience:
  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) certification required
  • Washington State SLP license
  • Prior experience in school-based settings preferred, especially with diverse student populations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfort with both virtual (Zoom) and in-person interviews
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques for various age groups and needs
Responsibilities:
  • Provide speech and language therapy to students, addressing communicative, developmental, and cognitive needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain thorough documentation
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
  • Work with a broad spectrum of disabilities and implement strategies tailored to each student's unique goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute your expertise to multidisciplinary teams
  • Track and report student progress toward therapy objectives
