Peace Health - - Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists in providing pharmaceutical care and performing technical duties under supervision;
Prepare IVs, PCA’s, Epidurals, and labels for IV products; may prepare chemotherapeutic IV medications;
Package medications into unit-dose packaging and maintain packaging records;
Deliver medications and IVs to patient care areas; handle controlled substances inventories;
Enter outpatient prescriptions into the computer and prepare labels for pharmacist checking; operate cash register at front counter if applicable
