Position: eComm Site Content Specialist I

Position Overview

This position is a hybrid role based out of our headquarters near Portland, Oregon. Employees are expected to work onsite four days per week, subject to change based on business needs.

About the Position

The eCommerce team powers our US and Canada  sites as well as our Customer Care Center. From merchandising and marketing to product management and technology, the consumer is at the center of everything we do. The Site Content Specialist I supports the overall ecommerce content objectives for the Columbia NA websites. This person executes content setup and validation, communicates with key stakeholders, facilitates workflow, and makes independent decisions to achieve timely and accurate content launches.

You’ll Make a Difference
  • Set up and execute website content updates for Columbia US and Canada websites.
  • Monitor production cycles to facilitate timely go‑live.
  • Participate in engagement with vendors and internal members to pass off files for site content to be built in Amplience platform prior to configuration.
  • Configure, add links, tracking tags, and schedule content in Amplience platform.
  • Perform QA and validation for all launches of new content/functionality to websites from staging to production.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure all updates deliver the intended experience.
  • Create QA and validation checklists and proactively coordinate and communicate these activities with stakeholders.
  • Validate that creative aligns with design files, specific requests within the brief, and meets ADA and legal requirements.
  • Assist with configuration and testing of promotional functionality within the ecommerce site platform.
  • Update site content status trackers and assist with cross‑functional communications.
  • Execute various site updates to support corporate initiatives including store requests, corporate information, dealer resources, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring

Adaptability in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment, ability to manage multiple competing priorities, strong initiative and sense of urgency.

Excellence in communication with key stakeholders across the company.

High proficiency with technical tools and systems, including Microsoft Office applications.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification, or equivalent experience.
  • Typically less than 2 years of professional experience; knowledge base generally acquired from a college degree or equivalent course experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Amplience or other digital content management systems, and navigating Figma to reference design files.
  • Basic knowledge of issue tracking and project management tools such as Workfront, JIRA, Airtable.
  • Experience in a B2C, Omni‑channel Retail environment is preferred.
