Compensation

$17.13 - $23.50 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums that may be paid in amounts per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
  • Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including team member execution on service programs such as Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, and Rock the Lot.
  • Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed, especially during peak retail business hours.
  • Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback on goal achievement, coaching and mentoring, and ensuring training is current.
  • Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management to select qualified team members.
  • Ensure the telephone is answered according to company policy.
  • Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and contact customers upon shipment arrival when needed.
  • Utilize the electronic outside purchase order ledger to handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
  • Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and friendly, issue accurate refunds using the correct payment methods, and stage returned merchandise correctly.
  • Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
  • Communicate Zipline messages, and delegate and complete Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
  • Ensure all team members comply with company policies regarding work schedule, change approvals, and clock‑in/out procedures.
  • Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day‑end procedures, securing money and deposits, preparing bank deposits, ensuring night security lights are on, locking doors, arming/disarming alarms, and securing delivery vehicles.
  • Assist the store manager in maintaining the store building, parking lot, exterior signage and lighting, computer hardware, in‑store service equipment, and delivery vehicles.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Experience
  • Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, and RSS Certification.
Desired Skills
  • Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
  • Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
