Job Summary

Advanced Electrical Technologies (AET) – a Pacific Northern Environmental LLC company seeks a Business Development Manager who thrives in a fast‑paced team environment and has the ability to provide exceptional service to our company, clients, and employees. Pacific Northern Environmental, LLC consists of five divisions including AET, Taurus Power and Controls/Taurus Power Services, Cowlitz Clean Sweep, Pacific Northern Environmental Construction, and Waste Xpress Environmental.

We specialize in commercial and petroleum construction, industrial and commercial electrical, industrial cleaning, and hazardous waste disposal across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Hawaii, and the United States.

Educational and Professional Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License (Required)
  • 8-10 years of industrial or commercial electrical services experience
  • Strong electrical knowledge, ability to read and estimate from blueprints, and proven success
  • Thorough understanding of electrical code and ability to articulate code requirements to customers
  • Industrial or commercial electrical services background
  • Proven Business Development/Sales track record and ability to execute sales objectives
  • Exceptional customer service skills and independence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of employee and company information
Duties and Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager will collaborate in a cooperative team environment, safely operate and maintain company or personal vehicles, and research and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to uncover new opportunities for expansion.

  • Identify and pursue new business partnerships, potential clients, and revenue‑generating channels through cold calling, networking, social media outreach, and trade shows.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Develop, manage, and advance a sales pipeline of potential clients and partners.
  • Present proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.
  • Prepare weekly reports on business development activities, performance metrics, and sales pipeline progress.
  • Cross‑sell additional services from all PNE companies to existing and new clients.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, meetings, and events.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals to ensure financial business growth.
  • Develop quotes and proposals, build long‑term relationships, and partner with operations to improve customer experience and loyalty.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Remain stationary for long periods.

  • Occasionally ascend/descend stairs.
