We are seeking an experienced
Mechanic
to join our team. The qualified candidate
must have prior hands-on experience working with heavy equipment and diesel trucks. This experience is a requirement for the position.

Pay - $25.00-$30.00 DOE

The mechanic will be responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on company vehicles, both gas and diesel trucks, and equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge and be able to diagnose and repair issues safely and efficiently.

Duties
  • Inspect diesel trucks, heavy equipment such as tractors and lifts, and other company vehicles to identify mechanical issues and determine necessary repairs.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake repairs, tire service, and other preventative maintenance.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Repair and replace faulty components, including engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and other vehicle or equipment components.
  • Perform tire installation, balancing, rotation, and repairs as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems and components.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and services performed.
  • Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs efficiently while following all safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • Previous hands-on experience working with diesel trucks is required.
  • Previous hands-on experience working with heavy equipment is required.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and hydraulics.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing trucks and equipment.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance, brake systems, and tire service.
  • Ability to use mechanical and diagnostic tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to safely perform physical mechanic duties and work in a fast-paced environment.
