CDL Driver​/Rigger

Full Time – Longview, WA, US

Salary Range: $28.00 to $35.00 Hourly

The Rigger/CDL Driver will fabricate and repair material while upholding the safety values and standards that Bishop Lifting is known for. The Rigger/Driver will be trained in all aspects of Rigger duties, including traveling to customer sites with the spooling truck as business needs dictate.

• Fabricate and repair wire rope slings and assemblies
• Maintain a safe working environment
• Assist in proof testing of products when required
• Ensure that equipment and tools used in the rigging department are properly maintained
• Utilize commercial vehicle to travel to customer sites and utilize the spooler as needed
• Perform other functions as required

• Must be able to read measuring devices such as tape measure, calipers, etc.
• Prior Rigging/sling assembly experience preferred
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy material to and from certain parts of the rigging department
• Class A CDL preferred, Class B required at a minimum.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment DOT physical, drug test, and background check—including MVR.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required
• General computer experience is a plus
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
